Like any other fan project hosting site, Star Wars Fanworks is caught in the middle ground between wanting to host everything that tickles our fancy . . . and trying to make sure our server providers don't end up on the floor, bleeding out their noses, thanks to a Fanworks-induced aneurism or something.

Generally, our response is that we will feature pages for any and all Star Wars fan audio productions, but it generally the job of the project creators to find their own webhosting for the actual audio files. Even if there is no personally-created website, the creator will need somewhere to host files for us to link over to. Other options are available, but only on a limited, case-by-case basis.

So, how do you submit your project for consideration? Simply contact Nathan at nathan@starwarsfanworks.com. When you do, you will want to provide either the file itself or a link to the file. Theoretically, submissions on CD are possible, but not the preferred method. After this, you will likely be asked to provide a description, plus full cast and crew credits for the creation of a project page. Anything beyond that, particularly regaring any possibility of hosting the actual files on the Fanworks hosting account, will be discussed at that point, if necessary.

If you're interested in setting up your own webspace to host your files, so that you have full control, but still want Fanworks exposure, let us know. Our relationship with Nexcess has been very productive, and we would be open to helping other fans get set up with web hosting accounts with Nexcess. They've been very supportive.
