EUII Audio Corps Update
(source: Conquest of the Empire, 12-15-05)

In all the chaos behind the scenes here at Fanworks (not in fan audio, but in the "real life" world of teaching), a pair of news bytes were nearly missed. Thus, we take a moment here to update you on the goings on with Joe Harrison's EUII Audio Corps.

The original Etherealm story is being given an extreme makeover. Its companion "campaign setting," Weapons and Warefare is being dropped entirely, but a similar concept might again emerge as Adventures in the World of Etherealm (or something similar).

For the new Etherealm, almost all of the original characters have been dropped, and the new story is being described as Tolkien-esque. The new project has also been given a title, The Age of Swords. It is being described as a hybrid audio drama and audiobook, which will be released as one whole (in a ZIP file, filled with individual track MP3s for easy CD burning).

More on this new incarnation of the Etherealm project as news becomes available.
