Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
The Post-Thanksgiving Catch-All Update Hey, everyone. Nathan here. It's post-Thanksgiving time, and after a six hour drive from Indiana to Atlanta, I'm finally able to sit for a minute on my highly numb rear end to give you all an update on what's coming up from Fanworks and fan audio in general. But, to do that, let's keep it all in this one update blurb, why don't we? 1. Tomorrow night (Sunday), Star Wars en Direct will airs its 40th live French episode and its 6th live English episode. The show will feature The Unifying Force, Star Wars Galaxies, and, of course, calls to and from listeners and special guests. You can listen to the English show starting at 7:00 ET. It will be up as an archive for download sometime later in the week, as always. 2. Monday is the official release date for ChronoRadio XII: End of an Era, the December episode (overall #35), featuring a retrospective on the New Jedi Order, a look at the current Clone Wars publishing line, a look back at some significant deaths in the Expanded Universe, and the usual news, commentary, and general oddness. This episode also features three special guests (one per discussion). 3. Wednesday is the target release date for Requiem of the Outcast's fourth episode. Rich, Janine, and Ron will be returning with another Noah's Arcade-sponsored episode . . . and the traditional good ROTO stuff you've come to expect. 4. Jeff Roney informs us that the script for the Tatooine TV Christmas special is coming together quite well, and he hopes to have it out around mid-December, though, as always, target release dates are only estimates. We'll keep you posted. 5. At some point in the near future, presuming all goes well, and she is able to find a copy to send to us, Fanworks should be hosting Lila Atherley's Episode 3 Spoof audio parody. For a while, one could find it on Lila's website, then find information, and then . . . it was gone. Well, as fans of fan audio, we want to help bring it back. Again, we'll keep you posted. 6. Michael Sheridan's fan audio drama project, The Logan Chronicles, will be joining the Fanworks family with a featured project page as soon as the series first episode is complete. We look forward to it, Michael. 7. Lastly (or I hope lastly!), the classic Star Wars: The Radio Play by Jay Higgins will soon be gaining a featured project page on Fanworks as well, as soon as I'm able to get one made in the between-holidays rush. Keep an eye out.
