Force-Cast Microcast #1 Explanation

As promised, now that we have been provided with an answer as to what was going on with the first Force-Cast: Microcast yesterday, we're passing along that information to you.

Earlier today, we were contacted by Dustin Roberts, host of the first Microcast, who informed us that the file was originally set to launch at 1:00 a.m. yesterday morning (which it did go up). However, when an RSS feed typo caused problems, another staffer removed the file entirely until Roberts could fix it that evening, when the file then returned.

As to what this somewhat bizarre episode was all about, we're told that the Microcast is simply a new addition to the Force-Cast, basically bonus content, which covers Star Wars materials that don't fit into regular episodes. (Like ChronoRadio's long-running "Supplemental Episodes.") These episodes will be hosted by various people, rather than a set team, and will eventually be released at random intervals.

The regular episodes of the Force-Cast will continue to be hosted by Pete Nadel and Jason Swank.
