Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
The SWC Show to Premiere Dec. 11 A brand new Star Wars fan radio show will premiere the night of Dec. 11 on the streaming Valor Radio online station (ValorRadio.com). The new show, hosted by Joshua and Kyle Kaufmann (with frequent guest host Andrew Reichenbach), is known as The SWC Show (or The Star Wars Crazy Show). The show will air as a streaming broadcast on Friday afternoons, starting at 4 p.m. Eastern, and will run for approximately 90 minutes per show. The show is slated to be broken into three segments: Star Wars Talk (general discussion, interviews, a parody of Elmo's World called Yoda's World, etc.); a segment airing Star Wars fan audio dramas (similar to Christopher Walker's Star Wars Fan Radio on Active Worlds Radio on Monday nights); and a segment on recent Star Wars news. (Episodes will begin airing at 7 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. around February 2005). The premiere episode on Dec. 11 will feature an interview with Fanworks's own Nathan P. Butler (most likely about Star Wars Tales #21) and an airing of Darker Projects' Star Wars: Crossroads audio drama. Drop by Dec. 11 at ValorRadio.com to check out the episode (10 listeners online at a time), or keep an eye on their website (listed below) and here at Fanworks (when their page goes up Friday night) for info on when and where you can download archival mp3 files of the episodes.
