Butler to Create Podcast Novel

With the success of such podcast novels as Scott Sigler's EarthCore and his own various audio dramas under Rayzur's Edge Audio, REA's Nathan P. Butler has begun work on his own first original podcast novel.

The new project, currently entitled Echoes, will not be based on Star Wars or any other existing franchise. It will instead be an original tale set in the very near future, focusing on Atlanta homicide Detective Darren Fox and a particularly troubling murder investigation. The story is currently being described as a mixture of the political overtones of The West Wing, legal wrangling of Law and Order, and, of course, elements of science fiction, but not the type that's the usual Rayzur's Edge Audio fare.

Outside of the project's logo (owing to Butler's fascination with text tweaking on Photoshop), little is being released about the project at the moment. For now, here's a quick glance at the logo that helps present the "feel" of the story to come:
