TrekWars: Chapter 2 Casting Call

Julius Harper of TrekWars: The Furry Conflict has dropped us a line not only letting us know that the second chapter of the TW:TFC audio drama will be going ahead, but also that they are having a new, open casting call. Here are the details:

The second installment of the TFC Audio Drama is in its scripting phase, and I want to apologize to everyone who either sent in auditions or requested info for taking this long to get back to you. The production is still underway.

For those of you who wanted additional information about the project, the short version is this:

The TFC Audio Drama is basically a "collaborative portfolio" project, where professionals and amateurs of varying disciplines (writing, acting, musical composition, sound design) come together on a common project to help enhance the portfolios of everyone involved. Voice actors get the benefit of having experience in a well-thought-out and high quality production. Writers get to demonstrate their ability to effectively create drama and dialogue. Musical composers get the opportunity to exhibit their talents, etc.

Once the production is done, the people involved can get a copy of the "final cut" either on CD or in MP3 format to add to their portfolios.

This production is actually the second in a series of "episodes" centered around the TFC storyline. It's a (semi-funny) science-fiction take off on Star Trek and Star Wars. To hear the release version of the first production, see the link below (we're sure you will be impressed).

Though the first chapter was very well received, we're trying to fix some of the storytelling issues that were present (more simplicity, faster narrative, things like that) in hopes of giving the second installment a wider appeal.
