Perry Releases Thesis A Fantasy and The Jedi Council Speaks Returns Things Are Looking Up host Jim "Indiana Jim" Perry has released a new audio parody, entitled Thesis A Parody. Here's a look at the new project, straight from Jim: Describing it as, "The scariest, most blood-curdling, most gut-wrenchingly bad comedy writing you've ever heard," Star Wars Fanworks' own Jim Perry, host of Things Are Looking Up, has released a dramatized short story featuring some well-known podcasters. Along with Rich Sigfrit of Requiem of the Outcast, Thesis A Fantasy also stars Christopher Walker, a veteran Star Wars Fanworks voice actor. The Main Character is played by Jack Mangan, host of Jack Mangan's Deadpan, a writer who finds himself in a fantasy world run amuck because of his quoting of lines from the Star Wars films. Also featured in this presentation are podcasters like LeAnn Mabry of Tag in the Seam, Doug Rapson of Geek Acres, Jack Hosley of Wander Radio, and Christiana Ellis, author of Nina Kimberly the Merciless. Perry hopes this will be the first in a long line of audio productions, and currently has a Star Wars Audio Drama on the back burner, as well as a forthcoming podiobook, still in production. Visit Podcast.IndianaJim.Net for details. (For the record, we've been sitting on this one, waiting to get it added into the parody section, but it's been taking so long that we decided to go ahead and post the news byte, then we'll add it when the opportunity arises, alongside another new podcast that we've been planning to add.) And speaking of podcasts . . . ! The Jedi Council Speaks: Special Edition #5 has now arrived, featuring materials covering Bob Crissman's encounters with the local FanForce at Dragon*Con 2007. Catch up with Bob in the wait for the next regular episode very soon with this special presentation. Things Are Looking Up Thesis A Fantasy The Jedi Council Speaks |
