Fanworks Core Universe Sourcebook Project Cancelled and Reborn

As reported a short time ago, the Fanworks Core Universe Sourcebook (formerly the Second Strike Sourcebook), a detailed RPG sourcebook for the events and characters of Second Strike and the first five episodes of Anthology, had entered a holding pattern. At the time, the project was awaiting a series of RPG stat conversions and original stats for a large number of items for the sourcebook, but all of its informational text was complete. The team simply awaited those gaming materials from the project's newest designated RPG guru.

After several months of repeated instances of assurances of stats coming, but stats never arriving, the project has hit a turning point. With a deadline given to the RPG stat expert now passed, the sourcebook itself has now been cancelled, as has its intended follow-ups, the Fanworks Adventure Journal series.

Instead, the information from the sourcebook and future information from other episodes of Anthology, Nothing Changes, and other audio dramas, will soon be reborn as a new project, under the care of Nathan P. Butler and Rich Sigfrit. Details are behind held tight at the moment, but expect a new area of the Fanworks site to open, akin to something you'd find on StarWars.com. The in-universe information will be preserved and new behind the scenes information will be added, but the gaming statistics, unfortunately, will be dropped from the project.
