Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
Adventures of the Galactic Star Force Power Squad Coming to Fanworks Nov. 1 Fanworks is happy to announce that we were wrong. That's right, we were wrong. Originally, we, and the rest of the Star Wars fan audio community, had believed that 1998's Star Wars: The Radio Play was the first Star Wars fan audio parody out there, marking the birth of that genre, and the fan audio genre as a whole, at 1998. As it turns out, Allen J. Singer and the team behind The Adventures of the Galactic Star Force Power Squad had been first on the scene (at least to our current knowledge), releasing TAOTGSFPS (cripes, how about "Galactic"?) way back in 1993. Now, that early fan audio parody will be coming to Fanworks on Nov. 1, the day it launches its own official website. So, keep an eye here at the turn of the month for this long-lost audio parody. |
