Anthology: Kids on Hold or Cancelled Very soon after having heard that FanPraise Radio was being cancelled before it had even begun, we are left to pass along another bit of unfortunate news. The planned eighth episode of Star Wars: Anthology, entitled Kids, is being reported as on indefinite hold or cancelled. Anthology began with five episodes by the series creator, Nathan Butler, but then branched out to take in scripts by other writers for episodes to be mixed by other mixers. The sixth and seventh episodes in the series were written by Sean Koury and Chris Walker, then mixed by Steve Fluharty. The script for the eignth episode, Kids, was written by Gregory Harbin, who was also behind the non-Star Wars audio drama project known as Superhero. Harbin was to both write and mix Kids (as he was also doing with Superhero), but the episode would be part of the Anthology series, under the Rayzur's Edge Audio banner, rather than a standalone project. As of late, Butler has been unable to contact Harbin, nor to determine what the status of Kids might be. Thus, as of today, Butler has deemed the episode either on indefinite hold or cancelled, so that it can be removed from the fan audio community's "coming soon" lists. If and when more becomes known about the fate of Kids, we'll pass that information along to you. Anthology |
