The Chelten Affair
Released

(source: Requiem of the Outcast, 09-20-04)

Ever since the Fanworks representatives at ConCarolinas 2004 hooked up with Davey Beauchamp for some very amusing convention moments, Davey has become like a member of the extended Fanworks family, appearing several times on Requiem of the Outcast, attending the fan audio panel at Dragon*Con 2004, and several times visiting with fan audio and Fanworks personalities like Rich Sigfrit, Nathan P. Butler, Deanna Atkinson, and Amy Ferrell.

The running gag, of course, has been the forthcoming (after a very long wait) book that Davey has been out promoting, Agency 32: The Chelten Affair. Now, we are happy to say that the jokes can end because the wait is over!

Here's the deal: The book is finally out, as of today, September 20. The bad news is that it is currently only a limited release, with a full release coming on December 15 (at which point, it will be available most readily on Amazon.com. At the moment, you can get the book through pretty much any big chain bookstore (or even some local bookstores like Waldenbooks), as long as they can order directly from Biblio Distribution. Their contact information, for those who might need it, will be fould below, along with links to Davey's official website and the Biblio Distribution website's page for the book.

Also, keep an eye on Davey's website (and Fanworks, of course), as he will soon be announcing his next round of signings at various locations all across the southeast of the United States.

As for the story (can't forget that, can we?), it's about two secret agents that work for the government's own agency that handles supernatural and paranormal phenomenon. Now, the two agents are sent to England seeking an escaped occult killer.

So, check out Agency 32: The Chelten Affair now, or pick it up from Amazon.com on December 15.

Congratulations to Davey Beauchamp on his tale finally seeing the light of day.
