Star Wars and Beyond Schedule Changes

Robbie Chastain has dropped us a line with new schedule information for Star Wars and Beyond. Here's the lowdown from Robbie:

It looks like I won't be able to review the Star Trek Generations CE DVD in November, as I'd hoped. It was pulled by Paramount just before its release due to an error on hte cover and the release date has been suspended indefinitely. No announcement on when it's coming out, so I have decided to pull the review from Star Wars and Beyond #2 and do it later on after it comes out. So, I will review something else. I haven't decided what it will be. Obviously, it has to be something I already have. It won't be a Star Wars movie because that's what everyone is doing each month now until May, and I'll be doing the Classic Trilogy DVD set in January anyway. It will likely be Star Trek VI this month, as that's one of my favorite movies, and then as we go on, the variety will definitely pick up.

Also, SWAB #2 will release on November 5, not November 10 as originally scheduled. I don't think it wil ltake eight days to prep up a small commentary on the presidential election, so I think it would be best to get it out as soon as possible.

"Newspapers and Us" is gone. Kaput. Finished. Finito. Hasta la vista, baby!

I have decided to replace it with a segment about space and astronomy. The tenative title for this segment is "NASA News." I don't know if it'll debut in November or January yet. I haven't decided. I'll likely talk about the Cassini mission at Saturn currently. It just depends. I haven't made up my mind.

Also, the Rich Sigfrit interview is currently slated to release in December. The first part, which will be Star Wars and Beyond: Interview Edition #1, is currently slated for a December 1 release. The second part of the interview, which will be called SWAB #2.5 (a supplemental episode), is currently slated for December 15 release. I think that will giv eyou all a good little Christmas present from SWAB to all of you out there, my listeners and friends. I'll keep you updated if these release dates should have to change.
