Lost Cause Lost?

For a while now, we've been wondering where the remaining chapters of the third episode of Lost Cause have been hiding, as the series seemed to have gone on hiatus.

We recently caught up with Matthew Smith, who informed us that the previously-released Lost Cause chapters (for all three episodes) have been removed from the project's website due to a massive redesign of that site (which is not just for Lost Cause, but all of Nightlight Productions). They will go back up sometime before the rest of the final episode's chapters are released, but that does not appear to be happening any time soon.

Meanwhile, all of the final chapters have been recorded, but due to work on another audio production (Beneath Monkey Island) and a move to Melbourne, Smith's time is extremely limited, which means that Lost CausE: Episode III will likely not see its final chapters released until possibly sometime in 2008.

So, fans of the series can consider it still alive, but somewhat out of sight for the time being. It will return, though.
