Radio Show Policy Update
(source: starwarsfanworks.com, 08-04-07)

Over the last few weeks, visitors might have noticed a slight decrease in the number of news items being posted. This is due to a number of factors, most notably that (a) the site is generally a one-man operation these days, (b) new releases are always noted on the left main column, and (c) that one man behind the site is increasingly busy, which makes putting up news bytes for regularly-scheduled materials somewhat redundant and time-consuming.

Thus, we announce a small change in policy: Since (a) almost all of the fan-made radio shows that are featured on the site are available through a podcast feed (which automatically updates with the newest episodes), (b) all radio shows have their release time frame listed on the Radio Shows index page, (c) new releases are always noted in the left main column, and (d) repeated news bytes for new regularly-scheduled releases have tended to clutter the news coverage of more substantial news (surprise releases, changes to creative teams, major events, and the like), visitors are going to see much less in terms of radio show new release news bytes, as that information is already available elsewhere on the site and is obvious through podcast feeds.

Instead, visitors will see news bytes for new audio dramas (as they are not "regularly-scheduled"), oddball radio show releases, audio parody releases, and any non-release news that becomes available. This should help make the site's news content more readily accessible, while keeping new releases at the forefront in the left column.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused in the last week or two, as the policy more or less went into effect by accident, but seemed reasonable enough to continue in an official capacity.
