Fan Audio Award Interviews: Gone Sept. 1

Earlier this year, as part of the first annual Star Wars Fanworks Fan Audio Awards, winners of the Academy Award series (the only set of awards that will reappear each year) were interviewed for special clips that were then released through April 1.

As we move into the latter quarter of 2004 (yes, that's September, folks), and we move toward the second series of awards in early 2005, we at Fanworks have determined that future years will not utilize the separate interview files for the Academy winners, but possibly include mini-interviews in whichever radio show (likely Requiem of the Outcast) covers the awards. As such (and since we're in a time of trying to conserve some space), the 2004 winner interviews, curently found in the Features area on the award listing pages, will be removed from circulation as of September 1, 2004. We hope that this will ensure that future years will be no more or less prestigous than last year's awards, and at the same time, allow the site a bit of extra space to keep up with its many new releases, including a new radio show premiering on September 1.

So, if you want copies of those interviews, you should download them before September 1.
