Star Wars en Direct #22/55 to Air July 25
(source: Star Wars en Direct, 07-21-04)

Star Wars en Direct returns Sunday night with another live episode. Here's the lowdown on the English edition (the French edition will be over The Cestus Deception, just like the last English edition):

On this show, we will review the twenty finalists for the 2004 Star Wars Fan Film Awards, organized by Atomfilms and Lucasfilm Ltd. We will review and announce our own winners. We will also discuss the actual winners and choices that were made at Comic-Con just before our actual show. If you have comments about the finalists and winners of this year or any suggestions on how the fan film awards could be improved, send them, or your phone number (for us to call) to studio@swendirect.com.

Click here to see the finalists 2004.

Live broadcast begins at 7 p.m. ET!

Don't forget that if you want to discuss a topic with us live on the phone during our show, send us you number by e-mail. We will call you (if you're in the chatroom). We want to have your comments On the air via the phone if possible, so listen to the show live for a more interactive experience.

If you have a special Star Wars related project (website, fan film, fan fiction, etc.) that you would like to promote, contact us and we might talk about it on the show.

If you want to participate to the show by doing a special segment, submit your idea to info@swendirect.com. Keep in mind that we try not to go over a three-hour show length, so submit segment ideas that are around 15 minutes.

As usual, the show will begin with movie reviews. We will be reviewing the movie I, Robot.

For the next show, we encourage you to read the latest Clone Wars novel, Medstar I : Battle Surgeons and send in your reviews for our next show. Also if you have questions for our guest, co-author Michael Reaves, about Medstar and Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, send them to studio@swendirect.com.

NOTE: Co-author Steve Perry will be on SWD this fall to talk about the second installment of Medstar, Jedi Healer and his best-selling novel Shadows of the Empire.

Thanks for listening
