Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
GalacticSenate.com Chats with Jeremy Barlow: July 30 We've been trying to figure out a way to justify announcing a big event over at our sister site, GalacticSenate.com, for later this month, and we've finally found a means of doing so, albeit in a "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" sort of way. As we've previously reported, Fanworks founder Nathan P. Butler has been tapped to write a story for Star Wars Tales #21 for Dark Horse Comics, as well as having a character in Empire: What Sin Loyalty? named after him. The man responsible for the original offer to Butler, the new editor of Tales, and the writer of that issue of Empire are all condensed into one man: Dark Horse Associate Editor Jeremy Barlow, and it is Barlow who will be the subject of GalacticSenate.com's first Star Wars celebrity chat at the end of July. Here are the details from Lou "T'Bone" Tambone, Fanworks co-founder and GalacticSenate.com administrator: GalacticSenate.com will be hosting an online chat with Dark Horse Comics Associate Editor and writer Jeremy Barlow on July 30, 2004 at 6 p.m. ET. Some of Jeremy's latest contributions to the Star Wars Expanded Universe include Jedi: Yoda, Empire #23, and more. Please stop by GalacticSenate.com at the end of July and ask Jeremy some questions about Dark Horse Comics and the Star Wars Expanded Universe. So, drop on by, ask a few questions, get a few answers, and perhaps figure out just how in the world Jeremy has survived working with Butler without wanting to stab someone's eyes out.
