Fanworks Core Universe Sourcebook Text Complete

After months of work on the project, we are pleased to announce that the Fanworks Core Universe Sourcebook (FCUS), a sourcebook for the West End Games and Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Roleplaying Games that features extensive content relating to the Star Wars: Second Strike audio drama and first five episodes of Star Wars: Anthology, has hit a new major stage in its development.

The project, which can be broken down into three development segments (regular text, flavor text, and gaming statistics), now has all of its regular text (character profiles, planet descriptions, and so forth) "locked." With the regular text now complete, new team member Patrick Karnes is currently working on finishing the project's gaming stats for both d6 and d20 players, while project lead Nathan P. Butler begins adding more flavor text (in-universe news reports and communiques, quote boxes, etc.) to the document.

For those who have doubted that the Fanworks Core Universe Sourcebook (formerly the Second Strike Sourcebook) will contain much new information beyond that found in the audio dramas themselves, we'll simply point out that the current working copy of the sourcebook (including covers and ads, but excluding blank RPG character sheets and any stats or flavor text not yet included) stands at a total of 123 pages in length, with an introduction, ten chapters, and three appendices.

The team has also suggested that if the FCUS is a hit with fans of the audio dramas, they may follow it with a second sourcebook or series of supplements, detailing the characters of Nothing Changes, the ChronoRadio Serial Editions, and further episodes of Anthology.
