Second Butler Action Figure Revealed

Back on April 25, we announced that Fanworks founder Nathan P. Butler's Star Wars Tales #21 comic book story, Equals and Opposites, would be reprinted and re-released in 2009 as a Hasbro "Comic Pack," featuring a brand new Kyle Katarn action figure and another then-unrevealed figure. While no official announcement had been made, Hasbro had revealed as much in a Q&A with RebelScum.com.

Now, we are happy to report that Star Wars Action News (for whom Butler acts as Book Club "Continuity Ambassador" and Expanding the Universe EU segment contributor), via their Q&A with Hasbro, has been able to publicly confirm what we could not tell you before. The second action figure in the comic pack will be the Star Wars toy line's first ever Yuuzhan Vong action figure.

Now that this has been confirmed by Hasbro, we can discuss it, but, so far, no one behind the scenes here at Fanworks has seen any preliminary sculpts of the figures or any other such material. At this point, you now know what we know. We are hoping to see the actual figures sometime soon, perhaps duing Comic-Con.
