Reminder: ConCarolinas 2006 This Weekend

For those interested, we'd like to pass along a reminder that ConCarolinas, the official "home convention" for Fanworks, Rayzur's Edge Audio, and Requiem of the Outcast, is this weekend (June 2 - 4) at the Marriot Executive Park hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This year's lineup of Star Wars fan audio personalities that are confirmed to be in attendance includes: Nathan P. Butler; Rich Sigfrit; Michael Smith; Amy Ferrell; and Davey Beauchamp. It is also possible (but not at all confirmed yet) that Andrew Bettis may be attending as well.

This year's convention guests include old favorites and friends of the previous fan audio attendees, among others. The Writer Guests of Honor are Spider and Jeanne Robinson. The Media Guest of Honor is Stargate SG-1's Tony Amendola. The Special Musical Guest this year is the group Boogey Knights, while the Special Gaming Guest is Peter Schweighofer, whom Star Wars fans might recall from stories in publications such as Gamer and his work as editor of The Official Star Wars Adventure Journal for West End Games.

We look forward to seeing fellow fan audio enthusiasts at CC '06, and we hope those who come take the time to catch these familiar Fanworks faces.

For those who can't attend, expect audio materials recorded at CC '06 to be presented to the community in the form of interviews, panel recordings, and special recording session bits, which will appear on ChronoRadio, Requiem of the Outcast, and other fan audio programs.
