Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
The End of ChronoRadio is Here As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Today, we bid farewell to one of Star Wars fan audio's most inflential and long-running radio shows, ChronoRadio, the so-called "Star Wars continuity buff's internet radio show." ChronoRadio was launched on May 16, 2002, shortly after that day's American premiere of Attack of the Clones, as a small side-project to tie into Nathan P. Butler's Star Wars Timeline Gold. Five years later, the show has helped spawn Butler's Rayzur's Edge Audio, Star Wars Fanworks, and, if you believe some in the community, a larger genre of Star Wars fan audio (though Butler downplays that kind of role). Fans can now download episodes of ChronoRadio, including its brand new episode (Special Edition #4: Series Retrospective, the special recap and finale episode), under the ended shows area of the Radio Shows section. On behalf of Rayzur's Edge Audio and Fanworks founder Nathan P. Butler, we thank you for your support for Fanworks' flagship radio show over the last half-decade and hope you will continue supporting REA and its founder by taking the time to leap on over to The Butlerniverse and his other projects.
