Star Wars en Direct Goes Weekly

The following news release comes in from the Star Wars en Direct team:

MAY 10th, 2005 - MONTREAL, CANADA - The web radio talk-show Star War en Direct will broadcast weekly beginning May 31, 2005. The decision was made because the hosts had too much to cover on each show, making them run overtime most of the time. The decision was made to have more shows, but have them shorter in length (60-90 minutes).

The show will now be broadcast live each Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern for the summer season. SWD might also go overtime but will be kept under 90 minutes except for very special occasions. The move from Sunday to Tuesday was made to accomodate the producer's busy schedule.

This new format doesn't mean the end of weekend shows. From time to time, special edition shows will still be broadcast on location from conventions or off the Tuesday normal schedule.

Some small changes will be appearing in the show and on website this summer as we fine tune the new post-RotS format of SWD.
