Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
New Releases Kick Off May Here we are, folks. It's May, the month of the year that means so much to Star Wars fans, especially this year, as the movie saga comes to an end with Revenge of the Sith on May 19. Before that, though, check out these new May releases of fan-made Star Wars radio shows and parodies. First, ChronoRadio kicks off May with ChronoRadio: Special Edition #3, entitled The Canon Question Revisited. This is an all-new, up-to-date exploration of the levels of Star Wars canon and the history thereof. (This is the long-awaited new exploration of the topic, which was first covered in October 2002's Special Edition #1: The Canon Question, which was updated in April 2004, but then removed from circulation due to changes in LucasBooks policy and the Classic Trilogy DVD release in September 2004.) Second, ChronoRadio also brings you an Interview Edition with Star Wars: Revelations fan film director (and star) Shane Felux. It's a film you won't want to miss, and this is a glimpse behind the scenes. Third, Star Wars and Beyond returns this month with Star Wars and Beyond #5. The featured interview this time is with Jeff Roney of Tatooine TV. This episode also features the end of one segment (the countdown to Episode III that reviewed Episodes IV, V, VI, I, and II ends this episode with a discussion with Nathan P. Butler on Attack of the Clones) and the beginning of a new one (a series of comic book reviews, starting with the Resurrection confrontation between Darth Vader and Darth Maul). Fourth, Requiem of the Outcast returns with Requiem of the Outcast #19 (its second "Version 2" episode), featuring coverage from Celebration III and info on numerous fan groups. Finally, Tatooine TV returns with its penultimate (uhm, second to last) regular run episode, Tatooine TV #24, featuring Jabba's House of Sweat and Roy D. Mercer Calls the Death Star. Only one regular edition of TTV remains! Stay tuned. Also, keep an eye out later this month for new episodes of Star Wars en Direct, Star Wars: The Cantina, and the TFN Podcast. Keep an eye on the news page and/or the "newest releases" icons in the left column of the main Fanworks page for details as these new episodes become available.
