Small Town Creatures Update

Shawn Johnston of Rogue Productions (formerly of Rise of Nobility) has dropped us a note regarding progress on the cartoon series that Rogue Productions is currently working on, Small Town Creatures, which draws some of its audition talent from the Star Wars fan audio community. Here's the lowdown:

Rogue Productions announces 1st Guest Director for STC

Richmond, VA – Rogue Productions is pleased to announce that veteran director Pamela K. Kinney has agreed to direct at least one episode in the first season of Small Town Creatures. No details have been made available about the selected episode that Ms. Kinney will direct.

Pamela K. Kinney directed Rise of Nobility, a Star Wars audio drama by Linda Lyons, in which RP President Shawn Johnston was also involved. In addition to this project, Ms. Kinney has many years of experience in film and television.

“Pam is a top notch director as Rise of Nobility showed,” commented Rogue Productions President Shawn Johnston. “I have no doubt that she will be able to pull off a great episode, and we look forward to working with her.”

The first episode of Small Town Creatures is scheduled to be completed sometime around Labor Day weekend. “We want to be able to generate buzz and get some support at Dragon*Con this year to hopefully pave the way for a professional release,” reported STC creator and co-developer Justin McCall.
