Celebration III Fan Audio Coverage

As the Celebration III weekend wraps up in Indianapolis, Indiana, let's take a moment to do a recap of where in fan audio you'll find coverage from the convention.

First, Star Wars en Direct: Special Edition #4 was aired on April 14. This was the SWD team's "Survival Guide to Celebration III," as previously reported. Also, tonight's Star Wars en Direct #37 (April 24) features their wrap-up of the convention and should be available to download as an archive sometime this week. Also, the SWD site reports that they are planning at least one more Special Edition release that was recorded at Celebration III. During the convention, the SWD team kept a blog, but it was not updated frequently due to various other issues.

Second, the TFN Podcast's Erik Blythe also attended the con. Thus far, the podcast has released an episode dated April 19 that includes a preparatory guide to Celebration III and a few news updates, along with another episode, dated April 21, which features an on-location interview with Patrick T. Gorman and Jason Major of Star Wars in 30 Minutes, which was being performed at Celebration III. (Steve Sansweet also drops by during the April 21 episode.) Erik promises further recorded C3 adventures in the coming days.

Third, the Requiem of the Outcast team also attended the convention, but have not yet released any of their recorded material, which will appear in various forms in future episodes of the revamped Requiem of the Outcast.

Finally, we are told that Rich Sigfrit's segment in the May edition of Star Wars and Beyond will also feature convention coverage.

As far as convention coverage goes, also keep an eye out in the coming months for coverage from Star Wars Fanworks' "home con," ConCarolinas 2005, which numerous members of the fan audio community will be attending once again.
