Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
Digital Llama No More: Dawn of the Film Geeks The first of two news bytes we've had to sit on for what feels like ages. (The other will come soon, we promise.) Chris Hanel has finally announced the future of Digital Llama 2.0. The big news is that Digital Llama 2.0, which hasn't had a new episode since 2003, is officially dead. The bigger news is that Chris Hanel and Josh Wasta (each having taken part in the original three Digital Llama radio shows) are teaming up with Chad Peter and Matt Soule to create a new internet radio show, Film Geeks. The new show will be hosted by TheForce.Net, but will be a show dedicated to movies, comics, sci-fi, and other topics. Thus, it will not be a Star Wars radio show (and thus not be featured in an area of Fanworks, though we'll still try to cover any big news related to the people involved that were with DLR/DLPG/DL2). Film Geeks is set to air in June, with live episodes every Monday night at 10 p.m. ET. So, just as in the days when DLR died and gave us DL2, we can say again, "The King is dead . . . Long live the king." Digital Llama Radio Digital Llama Player's Guide Digital Llama 2.0 |
