Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
Six New Releases and More Here we go, ladies and gentlemen. It's April 1, and we kick off the eighth month of Star Wars Fanworks: The Home of Star Wars Fan Audio with a bang! First, we have the launch of Michael Sheridan's brand new audio drama series, The Logan Chronicles, with his very first episode, The Lost Patrol. Look for it under audio dramas. Second, we have a brand new episode of Requiem of the Outcast, the seventh episode for the fan project-based radio show, featuring reviews of Second Strike and Rise of Nobility, an interview dealing with the Sins of the Jedi fan film, and an interview with the First Assistant Director of Star Trek: Enterprise. Third, this month gives us a new episode of ChronoRadio, the fourteenth regular format episode, entitled Two Men Enter. This episode features discussion on the contributions of Timothy Zahn and Kevin J. Anderson to the saga (with guest panelist Michael Galasso), the next part of the year-long tutorial series, and more. Fourth, we have the re-release of ChronoRadio: Special Edition: The Canon Question, the most frequently referenced dedicated discourse on the Levels of Officiality in the Star Wars continuity, updated with new information to make it current as of April 2004. Fifth and sixth, we have the last two interviews in the Fan Audio Academy Awards interview series, this time featuring Ted Alderman accepting for Ben Fletcher (Best Portrayal of an Established Character) and multi-award winner Nathan P. Butler. But, wait, there's more. If you missed them last week, be sure to check out last Wednesday's releases of TrekWars: The Furry Conflict: To Pierce the Sky and Smuggler's Run, last Monday's release of Tatooine TV #14, and last weekend's Star Wars en Direct. Also, keep in mind that this Sunday will be the next episode of Star Wars en Direct, a week early due to Easter Sunday, dealing with future stories for the Expanded Universe. Enjoy, everyone, and expect further news updates to resume April 7. It's Spring Break time!
