Why It Pays to Go to Conventions
(source: Requiem of the Outcast, 03-20-04)

A quick phone call from Rich Sigfrit to Nathan Butler proves definitively why it pays to go to conventions and why the panel for Requiem of the Outcast consists of a couple of lucky bastards . . . and a girl.

Apparently, during a day of convention-going, Rich, Ron, and Janine, the three ROTO hosts, were able to get a very long sit down, face-to-face interview with Timothy Zahn and Aaron Allston, together, for the show, along with some extra sit-down time with Allston. What's more is that it's only the first day at the convention (StellarCon) for them, and they're hoping to get to talk to R.A. Salvatore and others before leaving.

When will these appear on ROTO? We don't yet know. However, given how previous recorded interviews have worked out, we can probably assume that these will be spread over various episodes when there is time within the usual content.

Yes, we can all hate Rich, Ron, and Janine now. We now have permission to do so.
