Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
Catching Up: New Releases and More It has been a pretty hectic time around the Fanworks camp lately, so we thought we'd take a moment to pause and bring you up to date on several recent events, all in one quick, easy-to-digest newsbyte. First, outside of the regular podcast releases (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.) that we track without special comments (since they are so frequent and regular), we have seen a few new releases in the last few days, including: RoneyZone Radio #47 (a trip to Disneyworld with Jeff and Colleen Roney); Requiem of the Outcast #35 (entitled Done the Impossible); and, if you can believe it, a brand new episode of the thought-cancelled Tatooine TV. This new episode of Tatooine TV is the first Tatooine TV Live experiement, carried out as a live episode on TalkShoe. It features a call-in segment with a well-acted parody of Britney Spears. It seems that TTV lives again. Fans of Requiem of the Outcast should also note that the team made a special appearance on the Slice of Sci-Fi podcast recently, and Earl Newton has just premiered his new cutting-edge internet TV series, Stranger Things, with a special episode based on a short story by author Scott Sigler (EarthCore, Ancestor). One should also note that the episode number above is not an error. ROTO #35 has arrived, but ROTO #34 had technical difficulties that have kept it from circulation thus far. Also, in the podcasting field but not fan audio, StarWars.com has recently premiered a new official Star Wars Podcast Special, available to all visitors to StarWars.com (unlike the members-only Hyperspace AudioCast). As with the AudioCast, we will keep track of runtimes and topics for the (presumably) ongoing podcast series. RoneyZone Radio Requiem of the Outcast Tatooine TV Official StarWars.com Podcast |
