Requiem of the Outcast Cancelled?
(source: Requiem of the Outcast, 03-04-05)

Just three days after the release of Requiem of the Outcast #18, it seems that the show is . . . cancelled?

The following public comment has been made by ROTO producer Rich Sigfrit:

It is my sad duty to report the death of a loved one. Though she has become somewhat estranged from our original relationship, we still love her dearly. She is no longer the fine beauty she once was, but has become an abusive harlot, and needs to be let go. I regret to inform you of the death, of Requiem of the Outcast.

No further details are available at this time. What we can say is that the two episodes that acted as the official announcement shows for the 2004 and 2005 Fan Audio Awards are both being retained and are downloadble through the Awards area under Features. The ConCarolinas 2004 panel that was covered in Requiem of the Outcast #10 that would be part of our Fanworks convention coverage has been extracted from the episode and appears in the Convention Coverage section of Features. All other episodes of ROTO have been removed from circulation at Rich's request.

At some point, we're sure to hear more about what's happening behind the scenes, but, for now, we can only say to keep track of your ROTO episode MP3s, as you won't be able to download them again for the forseeable future.

As more news becomes available, we'll keep you posted.
