Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
Star Wars Action News Book Club Hiatus is Over! After months since its last release (and recorded roundtable discussion), the Star Wars Action News Book Club Podcast (and, of course, the Book Club) seems ready for a resugence. We have received word that the previously recorded but unreleased episodes are being prepared for release, along with slightly revamped versions of the earliest episodes that have already been released (to make them better fit the series format). Meanwhile, the Book Club has officially begun taking sign-ups for people to take part in the reading and discussion for Truce at Bakura by Kathy Tyers. Fans can hop over to the SWAN website forums to sign up. After reading and forum discussion, those who signed up can then take part in a live roundtable discussion (via TeamSpeak) about the book, which would then later be released as an episode of the club's podcast. No word yet on the exact release target date for the recorded episodes for the previously recorded episodes, but they should be coming in the next couple of months, it seems, before the Truce at Bakura episode. (For the record, roundtables have already been releaesed for the ANH novelization, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, and the three books of the Han Solo Adventures. Roundtables have been recorded, but not yet released, for the three books of the Lando Calrissian Adventures, all three books of the Thrawn Trilogy, and the novelizations of ESB and ROTJ.)
