(source: The Adventures of the Galactic Star Force Power Squad, 02-07-05)

New word has come in from Allen J. Singer, the man behind 1993's Adventures of the Galactic Star Force Power Squad, the first fan-made Star Wars audio parody known to exist, which was released on Fanworks in late 2004. He gives us the lowdown on what's happening with the project's new prequel project, entitled The New Adventures of the Galactic Star Force Power Squad. (Yes, it says "new" when it takes place before the original tale. Don't ask.)

To summarize, here are the salient points:

Timing:
Leading up into the original Galactic series.
Number of Episodes:
They're trying for six, but it depends on time constraints.
Cast/Crew:
Singer is sticking around, obviously, and he will also be taking up the role of Harry the Automaton, originally played by Rodney Cobb. Adam Campbell (Lee Stormwalker) is returning in his original role, and Michael McGraw, who helped behind the scenes in the original tale, is taking up Brant McKeehan's old role of Brett Nabors.
Current Status:
Script read-throughs have just taken place.
Sound Effects:
Many of the sound effects this time will be original, created by the crew themselves.
Release Date:
Singer is planning on doing all recording this month for a mid-March release.
So, keep an eye out very soon for a new tale in the Galactic series!
