Expanded, Explained, and Sometimes Extraordinary
Star Wars and Beyond Gets New Co-Host Since its premiere in September of 2004, Robbie Chastain's Star Wars and Beyond has been a one-host radio show. The program was recently relaunched in December of 2005 to return more to its roots of "Star Wars and more" concept (the concept that inspired RoneyZone Radio and, together with RZR, inspired The Butlerniverse). Now, word has come in that SWAB will soon be taking on a new co-host, and it's someone that the fan audio community is somewhat familiar with already. This new co-host is none other than Bryan Patrick Stoyle. Stoyle has previously played the lead role of Zallaron Kell in the Rayzur's Edge Audio "multi-path audio drama" Always in Motion: Ambush on An'Kerra, later returning to Rayzur's Edge Audio to be a segment contributor for the premiere episode of Other Voices. He is currently handling voice acting roles, s uch as Crix Madine, in EUII Audio Corps' Conquest of the Empire audio drama series. Stoyle is also no stranger to Star Wars and Beyond. He was a guest for SWAB #6 in July 2005 and is the subject of an upcoming SWAB interview (the recording of which was what prompted the upcoming co-hosting collaboration). It is unknown at this time when the new dual-host format for SWAB will peremiere, though it is likely to be at least a couple of episodes down the line. Before then, you'll be able to catch Robbie Chastain as the single host for SWAB, and you can catch an upcoming three-part tutorial on voice acting by Bryan Patrick Stoyle on Fan Audio Made Easy, beginning January 15.
