The 2004 Fanworks Fan Audio Awards
(Covering Projects Released Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2003)

In January and February of 2004, Star Wars Fanworks held the first annual Fanworks Fan Audio Awards. The awards were intended to recognize achievement in Star Wars fan audio productions for the 2003 release year.

Awards were divided into three categories for this year. Choose a category below and proceed to the list of winners for the 2004 awards.

AWARDS DESCRIPTION
Fan Audio Academy Awards The most prestigious set of awards, the FAAA series is determined by an academy of seven fan audio community members. None of these academy members could have participated in any projects released in 2003, allowing the awards to be as impartial as possible.
People's Choice Awards The PCA series was determined by online polling, open to anyone registered at the GalacticSenate.com message boards. These reflect the choices of both listeners and creators (who are also listeners), but are more easily skewed, hence being slightly less prestigious than the FAAA series. (This series is a one-time event, which will not be repeated in subsequent years.)
Founder's Choice Awards The FCA series is a group of awards meant to recognize outstanding early achivements in the birth of the Star Wars fan audio genre in the years from 1998 - 2002. These projects were deemed worthy of recognition, but were not elligible for the FAAA or FPCA series, as they were released before 2003. Awards were chosen directly by Fanworks founder Nathan P. Butler. (This series is a one-time event, which will not be repeated in subsequent years.)
Requiem of the Outcast's Official Awards Show For the 2004 Fan Audio Awards, Requiem of the Outcast acted as the official radio show covering the awards, with announcements, clips, and reactions from winners.
