Just before the release of Revenge of the Sith, the creators of SF Radio, a fan-made German-language science fiction internet radio show, launched a new four-part English-language Star Wars-only edition of the show in February 2005. This new spin-off Star Wars fan radio show series, Star Wars: The Cantina (or the Star Wars Cantina), is hosted by Falk T. Puschmann, along with a series of commentators.

The 2005 series is actually a relaunch of an earlier Star Wars radio program produced by the team. The original run of eight episodes ran from Oct. 2001 to May 2002, but were available only in German.
